Steeley 2 Legit x Clay James - Pimp Sh*t

Steeley 2 Legit x Clay James - Pimp Sh*t

Two of the best "up and coming" artists in Atlanta, aren't even from Atlanta. But they both take you back to the late 90s-mid 00's when Atlanta was putting out the BEST music in the country. Steeley 2 Legit and Clay James bring you Pimp Sh*t. This is definitely one of the best collaborations I've heard lately. Support indie artists!

ER305 - Dying Breed

ER305 - Dying Breed

Following up with another edition of #AnyGivenSundays, ER links up with Philly-based producer, Sarom (@saromsoundz) for "Dying Breed". Following up on the issues he covered on "That Fee", ER speaks on society's lack of expectations in those who come from the same type of environment as him. Drawing from his own life for this record, ER shows how he's avoided the pitfalls and stereotypes of growing up in a rough environment, avoiding incarceration and being in a grave before the age of 25.

Keep up with ER305 on all social media (@er305) and by logging on to www.er305.com to receive the latest info on his upcoming EP, new music, and show dates.

Paul Wall - Swangin In The Rain

Paul Wall - Swangin In The Rain

While I was out in Houston, I had a chance to come up on this new Paul Wall track. Produced by Scoop Deville, Swangin In The Rain is classic summer time music. So far, this is my favorite track of 2015.

Killa Kyleon - Black History Month

I got an oldie but goodie today. Fall of 2014, Killa Kyleon dropped a track entitled Black History Month. I intended to post the song back then but in the midst of my hectic schedule, it completely slipped my mind. Well last night, I stumbled back across the song again on Killa Kyleon's SoundCloud page. Just powerful lyrics from dude. I really feel like Killa Kyleon is one of the most slept on rappers of this decade. Dude has been murdering tracks consistently for the last 4-5 years. Hopefully by posting this song, I can wake some of you up to his greatness as a rapper.

ER305 - That Fee

er305 - that fee

Continuing with his #AnyGivenSundays campaign, ER305 switches up the pace from his last installment with his newest track, "That Fee". Produced by ER, he details how the pursuit of money has corrupted people living in the Magic City, from people he's come up with on the street, to local police departments and politicians, and even ER himself.

As ER305 gears up for a summer time release of his upcoming EP, "That Fee" offers a small taste of what one should expect from his latest body of work. Follow @er305 on all social media platforms and on www.er305.com, as details regarding his EP will be released in the upcoming weeks, as well as new singles, videos, and show dates.

In case you haven't heard, CJ the DJ had to forfeit his spot on E93 (93.1 FM) here in Savannah due to politics. Now even though CJ has been moved back to his original time slot of Saturdays and Sundays from 4-8pm, his goal was to be the youngest on air personality in the main time slot of 6-10pm. Anyone who knows CJ knows that he paid his dues. He's one of the only on air personalities that you actually see out in the community helping and volunteering with our youth.

This petition was started with the hopes of getting as many signatures as possible to show E93 and Cumlus Broadcasting that we, as a community and as a city, likes and respects what CJ was doing. This petition will also let E93 and it's parent company know that we want a new, fresh face in that time slot in order to keep the city engaged with what's going on.

Take a minute out your day and sign the petition and tell a friend to tell a friend to sign the petition as well.

Clay James & Trayon Pass - Before I Die (Produced by KBang)

I love to see young independent artists get on their grind and make their name for themselves. It also makes me feel even better when I have a personal relationship with the artist. I've been bragging bout this dude Clay James (formerly known as CJ the Fly Guy). He recently dropped his newest project Law 25 and as usual, I was not disappointed. If you haven't heard that yet, you frontin on yourself and you should really do better. But Clay James blessed me with an unreleased track earlier this week (my apologies for posting it so late...I'm working on a lot of different things at the moment). And I must say, this is one of the better tracks I've heard from Clay James. Much luv to the dude Trayon Pass as well. These two have DOPE chemistry. But either way, the new track Before I Die, is a definite must listen.

All The Way Indy (October Edition)

All The Way Indy (October Edition)

We had our 4th installment of All The Way Indy this weekend. As usual, it was standing room only. All of the performers put on a great show as usual...hats off to them again. The young dude Johnny Howard came through and performed publicly for the first time. He did good. Once he got that nervousness out his system, he went IN. Major thanks to Tat Money and Bobby The Butcher. They weren't scheduled to perform but they came through and opened up for us. As usual, Tat kept the crowd involved. True performer in every sense of the word.

Another part of All The Way Indy that is becoming popular are our vendors. Major thanks to 9-1-2 Made, Gentry Brand, and Spudnik. SpikeNMikes hosted as usual and as always, he kept the crowd laughing. I appreciate everyone that is supporting this All The Way Indy event faithfully. I'm starting to see certain faces come out every month and that's what let's me know that Hevy Traffick/CBC/Thorough ENT are doing something right.

Next month will be better...the event gets bigger every month.
