Business Casual 101

Today we're going to do something a little different. We are going to explore business casual wear!

Most guys work in an office where suits aren't required. But then the question comes up , "Well what do I wear to work and not look too dressy but still look professional?"

Well I'm here to help!

BUSINESS CASUAL 101

1.  Lose the tie! Add a Pocket Square

- When you go business casual that's exactly what they mean. CASUAL. A tie dresses up an outfit.

- Add a pocket square to still give your outfit a different look.

2. Shirt Options

- Sport a button up without a tie below your sportcoat.

-Button it all the way up or leave one or two buttons undone

-Wearing a thin sweater instead of a button up is also a great alternative.

-If you want to go even more casual , pair your blazer with a crisp solid crew neck or v neck

3. Shoe Choice

-Choose more unique shades such as brown and navy.

- Stick to loafers, oxfords, or dress boot.

4. Pants

The key to Business Casual is to have a pant that is a different color than your blazer.

- Invest in some khaki colored chinos or branch out into different colors such as navy, burgundy, and olive.

- If denim is appropriate in your office, stick with solid dark wash denim.

5. Other Options

- If you want to go without a blazer but still have a business casual look, try a vest.

- A vest can be paired with jeans, chinos, and a nice sport shirt.

- With a vest you have to add a tie.
